HewTech Electronics LLC has developed a low-cost control to detect the phase-change from vapor to liquid of LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS (LNG) for filling stations using LNG as a Cryogenic Fuel.

LNG-CONT.jpg (18906 bytes)The Model RTS-100 control monitors a sensor positioned in the flow of the LNG and provides a visual indicator and a relay change when the liquid is detected.  A relay sends a signal to the main control station indication Liquid has reached the sensor.

The sensor is made from 1/8" diameter 304 Stainless Steel tubing & Teflon cable for immunity to the harsh environments.  The control is contained within an IP54/65 (NEMA4/5 Dust & moisture proof) enclosure with a tinted transparent cover.   This allows visual indication of the status LED's at the control location.  A 10-amp relay is provided.

Calibration is a one-time operation and no special instruments are required.  Only a small instrument screwdriver is necessary for adjustment while monitoring the STATUS LED's.  No more matching specialized sensors to instruments.

Power is 120VAC @ 3-watts, transformer isolated.  The control provides low-voltage DC power to the sensor.   Sensors are available for custom lengths & special mounting configuration.
