We sill are sorting out the points, and may be missing some results, but will post them as soon as we identify the missing totals.
Our goal for the MVSCS_2008 Season was to have fun racing & enjoy the company of other racers. I think we were successful in that goal. We would like to thank both Tracks (Lucky-Thumb & Albright Shores) for their participation & working together to make the schedules work. This was something new, and the first year always has many bugs! Many thanks goes out to Pat Sheridan, Monty Wiseman & Scott Hewelt for their efforts in making the MVSCS "thing" happen. It started with kicking around ideas in e-mails & telephone calls, contact with the tracks, people behind the scenes etc, until finally we decided to give it a go.
We have tabulated the results from the listed events. Although it did take much longer than expected. There was much havoc behind the scenes this past season that contributed to the delayed results & listings, but with the help of the others, we were able to tabulate the numbers.. If you see any errors where you were not awarded points, or you were awarded points, shoot me an e-mail & we will see what happened. Next season we hope to combine more classes which will make it much easier to tabulate totals.....until then, please realize this was just for fun.
You will be able to consider yourself a Michigan Vintage Snowmobile "Virtual Champion" because that was the agreement if you Won your Class! So Congratulations to all our Virtual Champions & to all who participated.
We hope to see everyone again next Season!.
