Check out the www.cdibox.com Hats that the TEAM drivers will be wearing at Eagle-River representing the Website Challenge!  Yes-Sir, the HewTech Electronics team will be styling, even when just standing there.  Take a look, this may be the only time you get a good look at the front.  It's FAST approaching!

DECEMBER 15, 2003:
Here's the wild, Kurt Andrews prepared Yamaha GP-292, that I will be running at Eagle River in the 340 MOD Fan class.  Kurt has put some time into this sled, as obvious to the viewer.  I'm told the exact horsepower it made on the dyno, but I'm not talking until after Eagle River.  Let's just say everyone was impressed.  (Don't bother clicking to enlarge...this is a sneak-peak!).  Don't be too impressed...save it for Kurts 295 Polaris Starfire.  It is...well...let's just wait & see.  I'll be posting pic's of the TEAM sleds in time.

NOVEMBER 17, 2003:
As you know, if I'm happy with products & service, I always pass along the information.  Well, I'm HAPPY to announce  HewTech Electronics has moved!  Actually, we just moved the websites to another host server.  All of the hosting for the HewTech Electronics websites is in the hands of Hosting@BadgerTech.net of Wisconsin.  For an idea of the quality, www.vintagetwister.com is also hosted by BadgerTech.net.  It's always nice to have a human contact (which was lacking with our previous host) and Paul is the man at BadgerTech.  Paul does website designs, hostings, e-mails...all that fancy computer stuff that I never want to worry about.  Well, my worries are over.  I even verified the level of patience with BadgerTech.net by asking every stupid question imaginable.  Paul hung in there, answering all & going above & beyond...what a pro!  Contact Hosting@BadgerTech.net  for all your website needs....tell him you saw them on www.cdibox.com

76ST-decals.jpg (21698 bytes)NOV 1, 2003:Decals & Graphics: Just received a full decal package for my 76 Sno-Twister project from Intracon Technologies Inc of AB Canada.  The kit includes every sticker / graphic originally on the sled.  Intracon has no affiliation to me, but I always pass on information when I feel a quality product is available.  For more information contact Bill Schisan sledstuff@intracon.ca or www.sledstuff.com for details.

SEPT 26, 2003 MERC TWISTER DRIVE SHAFTS:  twistshaft.JPG (17811 bytes)I'm just passing on information on a product I recently purchased.  Jason Verhulst is manufacturing a super-strong 2024 Aluminum Front drive shaft for the Mercury Twisters...yes all of them.  He has the grooves cut to accept drive cogs from both the Trail-Twister & ALL Sno-Twisters.  Finish is top-notch and delivery was only a few days.  I have no affiliation, just an impressed customer.  Contact Jason direct at J&J Engineering  verhulst@centurytel.net or 715 595-4661

3/11/03:

Congratulations goes out to Mark Nernberg of Russell, Manitoba Canada.  Mark won the Canadian Power Toboggan Championship (CPTC) for Early Model 340cc on his FIREPLUG equipped Thunder-Jet.  Mark has done a good job making his Thunder-Jet fast & handle.  We are proud that Mark has chosen our FIREPLUG CDI for it's performance & reliability on his Yamaha SX engine.  Mark was one of the first to run the Yamaha SX FIREPLUG CDI and appears to be having good luck with it!  Way to go Mark!!!!!
